After a defensive mix-up in La Palmira F.C's zone, Cayetano Aznaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Florian came out of the goal and Cayetano Aznaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Generoso Rudolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romulo Malvin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Silverio Cordearo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victoriano Sustrai in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Javier Florian saved La Palmira F.C from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Generoso Rudolfo got free with Silverio Cordearo in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Angelo Bertran took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Silverio Cordearo. CA Quake's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Generoso Rudolfo made the kick off in the second half. CA Quake's Victoriano Sustrai got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Javier Florian made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Victoriano Sustrai sent off a good shot on target. Javier Florian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Sustrai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
