Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Generoso Rudolfo took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caio Hornilla in the 2nd minute of play forced La Palmira F.C's goalkeeper Javier Florian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Javier Florian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caio Hornilla went, in the 2nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Javier Florian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caio Hornilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roland Jakisz made in the 10th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Isidro Millano however managed to control. If Caio Hornilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Javier Florian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caio Hornilla in the 15th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Generoso Rudolfo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Palmira F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Eraldo Guzman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paolo Blanco in the 22nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Caio Hornilla in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Javier Florian saved La Palmira F.C from getting behind. 26 minutes into the match, La Palmira F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Caio Hornilla came free, but Javier Florian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caio Hornilla in the 30th minute of play forced La Palmira F.C's goalkeeper Javier Florian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Javier Florian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caio Hornilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Caio Hornilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Variante Delta's supporters rose to their feet, but Caio Hornilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Javier Florian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 36 minutes into the match, Variante Delta's goalkeeper Eraldo Guzman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Generoso Rudolfo. Caio Hornilla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Javier Florian having to make a save. In the 42nd minute Caio Hornilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Florian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Javier Florian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caio Hornilla in the 45th minute of play. After some careless play in the La Palmira F.C defense, Caio Hornilla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Javier Florian. The La Palmira F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Javier Florian should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ladislao Erramu to strike the kick off in the second half. Generoso Rudolfo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Variante Delta's Javier Florian threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ladislao Erramu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Ladislao Erramu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Javier Florian was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Cuartio Sesmilo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, La Palmira F.C's Javier Florian got control of the ball when Ladislao Erramu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Javier Florian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ladislao Erramu went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Variante Delta made a substitution. Serapio Reigada replaced Cuartio Sesmilo. Javier Florian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Erramu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute Variante Delta were awarded a corner. Ferdinand Bjørn went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Ye Yao Le got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Javier Florian quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice moves Ladislao Erramu could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Javier Florian however easily saved by the left post. Paolo Blanco struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Eraldo Guzman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Palmira F.C. Ladislao Erramu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Javier Florian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th match minute, Variante Delta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ye Yao Le to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Palmira F.C's goalkeeper Javier Florian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Erramu in the 89th minute of play forced La Palmira F.C's goalkeeper Javier Florian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Javier Florian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Erramu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ladislao Erramu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ladislao Erramu might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Javier Florian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ladislao Erramu ran back to his position shaking his head. Javier Florian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Erramu, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Variante Delta walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
