When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ive Schamp made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Dany-Adams Opdebeeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Florian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Generoso Rudolfo got free with Jannick Kindts in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Bernardino Telo fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Palmira F.C's protests and gave Bernardino Telo a yellow card for diving instead. After 61 played minutes, Circus BAF's Tommy Van Gertsuyden shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Javier Florian came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Circus BAF reached it. Jannick Kindts made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paolo Blanco in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Circus BAF's goalkeeper Jannick Kindts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Generoso Rudolfo. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jannick Kindts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jannick Kindts was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Generoso Rudolfo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Generoso Rudolfo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Generoso Rudolfo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jannick Kindts firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 84th minute, Roland Jakisz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the game, one of La Palmira F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Javier Florian had in the 87thth minute some difficulties stopping Tommy Van Gertsuyden's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 91 minutes into the match, La Palmira F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Ive Schamp came free, but Javier Florian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Palmira F.C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
