After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Andres Ubelteso managed to get in a good position for a shot. CA Quake's supporters rose to their feet, but Andres Ubelteso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andres Lastur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. CA Quake's Silverio Cordearo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save CA Quake from getting a goal against them. After 44 played minutes CA Quake got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Sadurni. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Silverio Cordearo came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by El Renacer del Quijano FC's Leandro Laurentzi. But to his dismay, Leandro Laurentzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Cayetano Aznaro's late challenge caught a El Renacer del Quijano FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cayetano Aznaro helped the player get up and apologised. Cayetano Aznaro hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Douglas Tepedino struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Silverio Cordearo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Renacer del Quijano FC. El Renacer del Quijano FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though CA Quake had controlled the match.
