The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evert Åkesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aírton de Lima having to interfere. In the 18th minute of the match, Artur Sabóia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wart Hemeleers saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aírton de Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evert Åkesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Motta Futebol Clube's Dudu Hermes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wart Hemeleers. Wart Hemeleers yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. 29 minutes into the match, Motta Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Ludwig Magnusson came free, but Aírton de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Wart Hemeleers successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Aírton de Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rickard Bokelund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aírton de Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludwig Magnusson in the 33rd minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Válbson de Alcântara notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of BK Värdsholmen's Wart Hemeleers. Wart Hemeleers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lu Ladron made a kick off.
