The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Zenon Pino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Benedito Trigo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paz Ungo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fábio da Cunha in the 8th minute of the match. With a little luck, Sagarana Clube's Benedito Trigo got control of the ball when Henry Ritter tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 21st minute, Éder Madureira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sagarana Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 37thth minute of the game Éder Madureira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GOMEZ F.C.'s Paz Ungo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Zenon Pino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Serafim Barros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paz Ungo was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Paz Ungo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Éder Madureira in the 42nd minute of the match. Zenon Pino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the game, Ascencio Canado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GOMEZ F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sagarana Clube the free kick. In the 45th match minute, GOMEZ F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ascencio Canado to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Serafim Barros made the kick off in the second half. Paz Ungo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Éder Madureira in the 62nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the GOMEZ F.C. defense, Serafim Barros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paz Ungo. The GOMEZ F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paz Ungo should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, GOMEZ F.C.'s Henry Ritter got a free kick in the 65th minute. After having played for 68 minutes, Zenon Pino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GOMEZ F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Zenon Pino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sagarana Clube made a substitution. Yu Yang Sang replaced Serafim Barros. Sagarana Clube's Bruno Salles was substituted for Éder Madureira. Zenon Pino kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yu Yang Sang in the 74th minute of play forced GOMEZ F.C.'s goalkeeper Paz Ungo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Yu Yang Sang made a precise shot to the right of Paz Ungo. GOMEZ F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 82 minutes into the match, GOMEZ F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Yu Yang Sang came free, but Paz Ungo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Salles got free with Paz Ungo in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto Heidemann in the 89th minute of play forced GOMEZ F.C.'s goalkeeper Paz Ungo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benedito Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zenon Pino, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Paz Ungo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bruno Salles showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 95 minute of play. The GOMEZ F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sagarana Clube were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
