Pepino’s defense, Trevor Eubank kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferrán Suarez. The C.D. Pepino’s fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferrán Suarez should have stopped the shot. C.D. Pepino’s's Ferrán Suarez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save C.D. Pepino’s from getting a goal against them. Bogumil Czapski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Ferrán Suarez made a huge save. Aníbal Mariluan kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Chen Hai Zhi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SK Mons's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.D. Pepino’s the free kick. After a rather tough play, SK Mons's Cesar Vrijdags got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Jerom Smoors showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacek Ptaszek in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute of the match C.D. Pepino’s got a corner. SK Mons's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jacek Ptaszek ran over to the corner to take the kick. After having played for 28 minutes, Bogumil Czapski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Mons's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bogumil Czapski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, C.D. Pepino’s's Ferrán Suarez got control of the ball when Bogumil Czapski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th minute, SK Mons's Bogumil Czapski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Ferrán Suarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gust Van Dijck, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Ferrán Suarez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Trevor Eubank in the 42nd minute. Bogumil Czapski scored 3-0 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferrán Suarez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

If Bogumil Czapski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogumil Czapski in the 52nd minute of play forced C.D. Pepino’s's goalkeeper Ferrán Suarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trevor Eubank stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ferrán Suarez. 4-0. In the 78th minute Bogumil Czapski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferrán Suarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, C.D. Pepino’s's Mario Alberto Infante got a free kick in the 80th minute. The audience was convinced that Bogumil Czapski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferrán Suarez was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Ferrán Suarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trevor Eubank in the 85th minute of the match. Jerom Smoors showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Alberto Infante, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute.
