The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roman Bazil during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Estrela Vermelha booed when Arroyito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Bazil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Estrela Vermelha's Enrique Proença got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Estrela Vermelha getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Franklin Negri hit a great ball. Cido de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel-Omar Santirso in the 22nd minute of play. The Arroyito FC fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Arroyito FC's Gabriel-Omar Santirso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 98th minute, Arroyito FC's Adrian Gaizko ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cido de Medeiros. Cido de Medeiros yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. The Estrela Vermelha fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Arroyito FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
