El Gallo de Moron's Melchor Xacintu was substituted for Pedro Augusto De Assis Moreira. El Gallo de Moron made a substitution. Thiago Elano replaced Adriano Planovskiy. The throw-in from Tostão Mota in the 71st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by El Gallo de Moron's Allan Schubert. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Thiago Elano took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Jorginho Vaz to make any attempt to save it. Johnny Gobillot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David de Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The audience was convinced that Marian Radziszewski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorginho Vaz was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by David de Alcântara in the 96th minute of play forced El Gallo de Moron's goalkeeper Johnny Gobillot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Despite being the better team, Portuguesa failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
