CoDeS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evelio Hever was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Brooklyn SC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ollie Mejia hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Trenton Long notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of CoDeS's Filiberto Sanson. Filiberto Sanson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jospeh McNally showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Hever in the 15th minute of the match. CoDeS's Filiberto Sanson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trenton Long in the 18th minute of play. After some careless play in the CoDeS defense, Gerardo Beard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filiberto Sanson. The CoDeS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filiberto Sanson should have stopped the shot. Jospeh McNally showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Hever, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. CoDeS's Filiberto Sanson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Cole in the 30th minute of play. When Evelio Hever came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the CoDeS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evelio Hever couldn't finish the play. Filiberto Sanson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Cole, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Ollie Mejia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, CoDeS's Junior Mantzio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 41st minute Trenton Long shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Sanson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, CoDeS's Izak Bormans got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Junior Dolcet was the one to do the kick off. Filiberto Sanson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Trenton Long in the 52nd minute. Brooklyn SC's Trenton Long got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brooklyn SC made a substitution.
