The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arnulfo Piarres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eldur Uustal in the 7th minute. With a little luck, Castelar F.C.'s Arnulfo Piarres got control of the ball when Abelardo Vasco tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romeo Abar during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 10th match minute, Castelar F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Abar to maneuver through the defense. Arnulfo Piarres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abelardo Vasco's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Abelardo Vasco did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Arnulfo Piarres 20 minutes into the match. Eldur Uustal's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Arnulfo Piarres skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Eldur Uustal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Arnulfo Piarres made a huge save. In the 35th minute, Eldur Uustal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JK Shefid fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Eldur Uustal in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arnulfo Piarres, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arturo Inocente stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Eldur Uustal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnulfo Piarres was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 74th minute Abelardo Vasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Piarres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Castelar F.C. defense, Abelardo Vasco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnulfo Piarres. The Castelar F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnulfo Piarres should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Castelar F.C. booed when JK Shefid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eldur Uustal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Castelar F.C.'s goalkeeper Arnulfo Piarres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Keijo Haan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Inocente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnulfo Piarres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abelardo Vasco went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. JK Shefid's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
