The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Stephan Vanneste took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Robustiano Nardo to make any attempt to save it. When Diedrik Van Mechelen came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Ulan Bator Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diedrik Van Mechelen couldn't finish the play. A collision led to EL CHINGOLO P C getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Romeo Alfonso hit a great ball. If Jérémy Doku had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alain Vandam was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 20 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, one of Ulan Bator Football Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ulan Bator Football Club. Stephan Vanneste recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Ulan Bator Football Club's Erwin Tobbackers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robustiano Nardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Diedrik Van Mechelen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diedrik Van Mechelen in the 30th minute of play forced EL CHINGOLO P C's goalkeeper Robustiano Nardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Diedrik Van Mechelen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Robustiano Nardo. Diedrik Van Mechelen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Stephan Vanneste struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Robustiano Nardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ulan Bator Football Club. Erwin Tobbackers was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 38th minute. Ulan Bator Football Club's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Romeo Alfonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ball Packert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Diedrik Van Mechelen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diedrik Van Mechelen got free with Robustiano Nardo in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of EL CHINGOLO P C booed when Ulan Bator Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stephan Vanneste didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 46 minutes Ulan Bator Football Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Doru Popescu who took care of the corner kick. The corner led EL CHINGOLO P C's Doru Popescu to fire away a dangerous shot which Ball Packert despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

EL CHINGOLO P C's Eulalio Dubardo was substituted for Felix Oto. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diedrik Van Mechelen made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, EL CHINGOLO P C's goal looked a bit too open when Stephan Vanneste came free, but Robustiano Nardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute Erwin Tobbackers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Nardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diedrik Van Mechelen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andres Abascal got free with Ball Packert in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute EL CHINGOLO P C were awarded a corner. Doru Popescu went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Alejandro Bastiaro heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Ball Packert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Bastiaro in the 66th minute of the match. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by EL CHINGOLO P C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Erwin Tobbackers was slow to take the kick. During this time Ulan Bator Football Club's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Erwin Tobbackers got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Robustiano Nardo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ball Packert had great luck who in the 73rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Eustaquio Bordat from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After 75 played minutes EL CHINGOLO P C got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Panpili. When Artemio Panpili fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EL CHINGOLO P C's protests and gave Artemio Panpili a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, EL CHINGOLO P C's Artemio Panpili got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 76th minute of the match Erwin Tobbackers sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robustiano Nardo skillfully saved the ball. Robustiano Nardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diedrik Van Mechelen in the 85th minute of the match. Erwin Tobbackers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ulan Bator Football Club had won after a very even match.
