Lyle Flanagan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. With his leg Lyle Flanagan managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Hertha 1969's Nertil Maldini fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
