Maurino Serena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beetje Moe Re-United. Alcorcón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Belo Alvarez couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Belo Alvarez to make the kick off. When Eusebio Quijana fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.D. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
