Jan Budzyn made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Steffen Gimlinge sent off a good shot on target. Steffen Gimlinge could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Jan Budzyn made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Steffen Gimlinge took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jan Budzyn to make any attempt to save it. 10 minutes into the match, Lyna Lidzbark Warminski's goalkeeper Jan Budzyn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Steffen Gimlinge. In the 12thth minute of the game Steffen Gimlinge who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lyna Lidzbark Warminski's Jan Budzyn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Steffen Gimlinge in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Budzyn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Steffen Gimlinge kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jan Budzyn. That made the score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. If Steffen Gimlinge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Universidad Nacional's Steffen Gimlinge got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steffen Gimlinge got free with Jan Budzyn in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st minute, Club Universidad Nacional's Steffen Gimlinge dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. 34 minutes into the match, Steffen Gimlinge dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jan Budzyn, 4-0. Jan Budzyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steffen Gimlinge, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute Steffen Gimlinge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Budzyn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnoud de Pelsmakere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szymon Sobczak in the 42nd minute of the match. Radoslaw Kon kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Zygmunt Waselewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 45 minutes, Angel Morales managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Universidad Nacional's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angel Morales was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 47 minutes, Eustaquio Mede mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Universidad Nacional and the Lyna Lidzbark Warminski players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eustaquio Mede kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Steffen Gimlinge was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Steffen Gimlinge made a precise shot to the right of Jan Budzyn. Lyna Lidzbark Warminski's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Arnoud de Pelsmakere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Szymon Sobczak in the 54th minute of play. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 55th minute, but Arnoud de Pelsmakere got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Club Universidad Nacional hanging dry this time. After a rather tough play, Lyna Lidzbark Warminski's Miroslaw Wielopolski got a free kick in the 58th minute. After some careless play in the Lyna Lidzbark Warminski defense, Steffen Gimlinge kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Budzyn. The Lyna Lidzbark Warminski fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Budzyn should have stopped the shot. 63 minutes into the match, Steffen Gimlinge had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan Budzyn. Lyna Lidzbark Warminski's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Steffen Gimlinge was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Club Universidad Nacional made a substitution. Feliciano Frans replaced Steffen Gimlinge. Jan Budzyn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Frans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Frans in the 70th minute of play forced Lyna Lidzbark Warminski's goalkeeper Jan Budzyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Club Universidad Nacional's Arnoud de Pelsmakere got control of the ball when Gustaw Kosiorek tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 74 minutes, Feliciano Frans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When Feliciano Frans came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Club Universidad Nacional fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliciano Frans couldn't finish the play. Jan Budzyn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliciano Frans's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute, Feliciano Frans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Budzyn was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Jan Budzyn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Frans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Karel Šnajdr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute, Miroslaw Wielopolski sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Club Universidad Nacional's Arnoud de Pelsmakere didn't even have to move.
