Indiana University's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Fernando Grover scored to the left of an out of position Frits Lenoir, making the score, 1-0. Fernando Grover received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Frits Lenoir came out and tried to block the shot, but Fernando Grover slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 21st minute. Frits Lenoir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Grover, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hikmet Temirkut hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Indiana University's Frits Lenoir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Indiana University from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Indiana University getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Hikmet Temirkut hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Indiana University's goalkeeper Frits Lenoir had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafal Kaszubowski. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yiğit Haşmetli to make the kick off. Bernabe Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yiğit Haşmetli in the 61st minute of the match. Frits Lenoir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Grover in the 62nd minute of play. MARTINETA's Andrey Atamanenko managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Okanay Kiram in the 66 minute of the game. After 66 played minutes Indiana University got a freekick which was hit by Okanay Kiram. Fernando Grover recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Indiana University's goal looked a bit too open when Rafal Kaszubowski came free, but Frits Lenoir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frits Lenoir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Grover, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frits Lenoir prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Indiana University's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because MARTINETA had won, even though Indiana University had held more of the ball.
