With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pancracio Paniagua prevented the ball from getting in the gole. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Benito Michael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdomiro Dionísio in the 19th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's zone, Valdomiro Dionísio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Michael came out of the goal and Valdomiro Dionísio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute Valdomiro Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Michael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. POPULAR F.C's Clarke Brooks managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Oscar-Alfredo Ruggeri in the 35 minute of the game. In the 38th play minute Valdomiro Dionísio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benito Michael. 1-0. POPULAR F.C's Pancracio Paniagua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tincho Palermo in the 42nd minute of play. A hard shot 44 in the game by Valdomiro Dionísio from a close distance when the talented Benito Michael managed to make a qualified save. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's players were relieved. After taking down the ball on POPULAR F.C's corner Gilson Cordeiro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benito Michael quite easily take care of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tincho Palermo to make the kick off. If Tincho Palermo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 54th match minute, POPULAR F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdomiro Dionísio to maneuver through the defense. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Ali Kağan Özerek managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Clarke Brooks in the 57 minute of the game. In the 61st minute, Roman Lech hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. POPULAR F.C's Frank Moyle was substituted for Valdomiro Dionísio. POPULAR F.C made a substitution. Tincho Palermo was slow to take the kick. During this time CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's players had a chance to rest. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Tincho Palermo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pancracio Paniagua in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS made a substitution. Julian Casado replaced Bernd Rechmann. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elias Oihenarte in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pancracio Paniagua saved POPULAR F.C from getting behind. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Uriel Cayo in the 78th minute. 80 minutes in the game Clarke Brooks did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Mei Xun Jun. Elias Oihenarte took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pancracio Paniagua. Pancracio Paniagua dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 89th minute, CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Elias Oihenarte dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Benito Michael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Moyle in the 93rd minute of the match. Despite being the better team, POPULAR F.C failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
