Spectators: 7677 (Terracing: 5758, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Valdomiro Dionísio started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdomiro Dionísio in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erdinç Yalgın saved Mans from getting behind. In the 7th minute Eusébio Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pancracio Paniagua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Mans's Pancracio Paniagua threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Léonard Beauchamp, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Valdomiro Dionísio sped through Mans's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Erdinç Yalgın. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mans's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gilson Cordeiro was slow to take the kick. During this time POPULAR F.C's players had a chance to rest. Erdinç Yalgın took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdomiro Dionísio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Jean Simão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Su Xiang Lin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Erdinç Yalgın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdomiro Dionísio in the 51st minute of play. If Valdomiro Dionísio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 55 minutes into the match, Mans's goal looked a bit too open when Valdomiro Dionísio came free, but Erdinç Yalgın reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mans fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! In the 61st minute Valdomiro Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erdinç Yalgın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mans's Erdinç Yalgın played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdomiro Dionísio in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Valdomiro Dionísio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erdinç Yalgın was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. POPULAR F.C's Váldson Tande was substituted for Gilson Cordeiro. POPULAR F.C made a substitution. Frank Moyle replaced Valdomiro Dionísio. Erdinç Yalgın came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by POPULAR F.C's Frank Moyle. But to his dismay, Frank Moyle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Eduardo Tuzzio made in the 82nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Muhammet Birhan. The supporters of POPULAR F.C booed when Mans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Tuzzio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Erdinç Yalgın successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mans's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mei Xun Jun was slow to take the kick. During this time POPULAR F.C's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on POPULAR F.C's corner Mei Xun Jun fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Erdinç Yalgın quite easily take care of the ball. POPULAR F.C's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
