César Nascimento started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes of play, Champions Iasi's Iustin Coporan made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rogério Carvalho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vasile Mumuleanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Rogério Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Vasile Mumuleanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Champions Iasi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 17th minute, Iustin Coporan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rogério Carvalho. The goal made the score 3-0. 20 minutes into the match, Irinel Aldea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rogério Carvalho. Alvinegro de Tupã's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Irinel Aldea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iustin Coporan got free with Rogério Carvalho in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. José Vítor de Sena hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Alvinegro de Tupã's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Róbert Pál-Szabó scored to the left of an out of position Rogério Carvalho, making the score, 5-0. 32 minutes into the match, Iustin Coporan notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Alvinegro de Tupã's Rogério Carvalho. Rogério Carvalho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Vasile Mumuleanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rogério Carvalho was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. 36 minutes into the match, Iustin Coporan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rogério Carvalho. Alvinegro de Tupã's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iustin Coporan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Róbert Pál-Szabó could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Rogério Carvalho made a huge save. Tostão Branco hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Rogério Carvalho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Róbert Pál-Szabó went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. 45 minutes into the game, Champions Iasi's Cosmin Iureș nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rogério Carvalho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 9-0 at half-time.

51 minutes into the match, Alvinegro de Tupã's goal looked a bit too open when Vasile Mumuleanu came free, but Rogério Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvinegro de Tupã's Rogério Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbert Pál-Szabó in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd match minute, Alvinegro de Tupã was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vânderson Paranaense to maneuver through the defense. Vasile Mumuleanu struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Rogério Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Champions Iasi. Rogério Carvalho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iustin Coporan went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. In the 61st minute, Iustin Coporan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rogério Carvalho was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. If Róbert Pál-Szabó had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Jorge Cadete made a precise shot to the right of Rogério Carvalho. Alvinegro de Tupã's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 13-0. Rogério Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasile Mumuleanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Rogério Carvalho came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Champions Iasi's Jorge Cadete. But to his dismay, Jorge Cadete quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 15-0. In the 79th minute, Róbert Pál-Szabó made a precise shot to the right of Rogério Carvalho. Alvinegro de Tupã's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 16-0. 82 minutes into the match, Róbert Pál-Szabó notched a goal, 17-0, to the right of Alvinegro de Tupã's Rogério Carvalho. Rogério Carvalho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 85th minute Róbert Pál-Szabó shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
