Spectators: 7811 (Terracing: 5860, Seating: 1796, VIP seats: 155) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Melchor Gregory started the match with the kick off. 10 minutes into the match, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Nuralp Başdemir sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aquiles Senio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guaberto Jacindo in the 11th minute. It was a well-played corner which Alex Doe managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 16th minute Nuralp Başdemir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Senio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baron Buffon made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Melchor Gregory sent off a good shot on target. Dionisia's attentive Aquilino Piearres managed to snatch the ball when Guaberto Jacindo made a throw-in in the 25th minute of the game. 27 minutes into the game, Aquilino Piearres threw the ball into play from the sideline. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Aureliano Cordeiro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Konstanty Poniewaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Nuralp Başdemir made a precise shot to the right of Aquiles Senio. Dionisia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Aquiles Senio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuralp Başdemir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Florencio Chano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Peyami Hasanbeyli got a free kick in the 45th minute. After 46 played minutes, Dionisia's Florencio Chano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Baron Buffon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dionisia reached it. After a rather tough play, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Peyami Hasanbeyli got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Nuralp Başdemir made the kick off in the second half. Nuralp Başdemir's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aquiles Senio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. After 60 played minutes Dionisia got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Piearres. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Rien Oss was substituted for Nuralp Başdemir. Dionisia made a substitution. Denis Ereinotz replaced Melchor Gregory. In the 62nd match minute, Dionisia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Piearres to maneuver through the defense. Aquiles Senio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rien Oss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute Rien Oss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Senio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Dionisia's Arnaldo Beturian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baron Buffon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Beturian came free, but Baron Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Rien Oss sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aquiles Senio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dionisia's Aquiles Senio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rien Oss in the 75th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnaldo Beturian in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baron Buffon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnaldo Beturian took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baron Buffon. Baron Buffon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Baron Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Beturian in the 85th minute of play. Bradley Barrett blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aquiles Senio having to make a save. A collision led to Los Muñes de Don Cuco getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Wilfredo Mero hit a great ball. Arnaldo Beturian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baron Buffon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Beturian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baron Buffon. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnaldo Beturian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 94 minutes into the match, Dionisia's goalkeeper Aquiles Senio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rien Oss. Baron Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Beturian, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
