Atacan Rahim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Erubiel Sotil made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Atacan Rahim sent off a good shot on target. Jerônimo da Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukas Lundgren in the 16th minute of the match. Fri Spel hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute of the game Mincho Shahanov made a throw-in which Nicasio Amor played forward. Jerônimo da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sérgio Aguero, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Jerônimo da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukas Lundgren in the 27th minute of play. Erubiel Sotil made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Atacan Rahim sent off a good shot on target. Atacan Rahim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Sérgio Aguero made the kick off in the second half.
