But to his dismay, Zair Hasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jerônimo da Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredric Melander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atacan Rahim received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pål Sefastsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Atacan Rahim slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 11th minute. Pål Sefastsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atacan Rahim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerônimo da Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zair Hasa in the 17th minute of the match. In the 24thth minute of the game Fredric Melander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elite™- FC Galácticos's Jerônimo da Cunha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Fredric Melander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerônimo da Cunha was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. After 26 minutes of play, National Team Cape-Verde's Oswald Winnepennincx made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jerônimo da Cunha was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 40 played minutes Elite™- FC Galácticos got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Dighero. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 53rd minute, Felipe Muñoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Max Skarkman got a throw-in 55 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Roland Björklund. A sloppy throw-in by Felipe Muñoz in the 57th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by National Team Cape-Verde's Narciso Labarra. In the 60th minute Zair Hasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerônimo da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerônimo da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredric Melander in the 61st minute of play. Pål Sefastsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atacan Rahim, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute Atacan Rahim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Sefastsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zachary Pliszka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Elite™- FC Galácticos's Gino Monteiro in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye National Team Cape-Verde's goalie prevented a goal. In the 96thth minute of the game Zachary Pliszka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elite™- FC Galácticos's Jerônimo da Cunha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
