Aquilino Velazquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Barral having to interfere. In the 25thth minute of the game Belarmino Viejo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ferreira Lopes MZC's Gabriel Barral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 26 played minutes Club Deportivo Polonia got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Carmona. If Vinicio Junior had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ferreira Lopes MZC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. García Ramos was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Deportivo Polonia's players had a chance to rest. García Ramos made a great header on Club Deportivo Polonia's corner, it was just that Ferreira Lopes MZC's Gabriel Barral managed to reach the ball for a save. Belarmino Viejo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Gabriel Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vinicio Junior stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Xerardo Gasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinicio Junior, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Xerardo Gasso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Shao Hao Zhen went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Ferreira Lopes MZC's Gabriel Barral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Ferreira Lopes MZC from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute, Shao Hao Zhen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Club Deportivo Polonia's Belarmino Viejo got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gabriel Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Diaz in the 69th minute of play. João Vítor Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Club Deportivo Polonia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
