Tom Røise made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kosta Kúnov in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute of the match Laziali got a corner. Åsnes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gerasim Nachov ran over to the corner to take the kick. 91 minutes into the game, Åsnes's Al Wieczorek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Avgustin Yochev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After having played for 97 minutes, Al Wieczorek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Åsnes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Al Wieczorek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
