Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hans Otterlei in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeronimo Gines prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joel Delfino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Mouzo in the 20th minute of the match. When Felix Orlan, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 20 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Joel Delfino was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Joel Delfino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cruz Credo in the 24th minute of play. Joel Delfino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cruz Credo in the 27th minute of the match. A collision led to La Cosa Nostra getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jairo Boniel hit a great ball. When César de Senna fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maravilla's protests and gave César de Senna a yellow card for diving instead. Jeronimo Gines showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Otterlei, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. With an all-out effort, Maravilla's Joel Delfino threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cruz Credo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 42nd minute of the match La Cosa Nostra got a corner. Maravilla's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arnaldo Perpinya ran over to the corner to take the kick. Arnaldo Perpinya made a great header on La Cosa Nostra's corner, it was just that Maravilla's Jeronimo Gines managed to reach the ball for a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

54 minutes into the match, La Cosa Nostra's Hans Otterlei sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeronimo Gines narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Bizen in the 71st minute of play forced Maravilla's goalkeeper Jeronimo Gines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marciano Bizen was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 73rd minute. La Cosa Nostra's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a little luck, Maravilla's Jeronimo Gines got control of the ball when Bartolo Nesor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roberto Mouzo hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Maravilla's goalkeeper Jeronimo Gines had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bartolo Nesor. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
