An unexpectedly hard shot by You Wei Xing in the 10th minute of play forced Galo do Cerrado's goalkeeper Vicente Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th match minute, Galo do Cerrado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Lima to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 12 minutes, Sten Koch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Bull Magnus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sten Koch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Richard Hefter in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vicente Barbosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. You Wei Xing could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Vicente Barbosa made a huge save. After 24 played minutes Galo do Cerrado got a freekick which was hit by Severino Novaes. Cláudio Bittencourt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beto dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th match minute, Galo do Cerrado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Almantas Plungys to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Richard Hefter got free with Vicente Barbosa in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 44 minutes into the match, You Wei Xing dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vicente Barbosa, 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Vicente Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bass Dost had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Galo do Cerrado's Vicente Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bass Dost in the 63rd minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Claudinho Sá in the 69th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Red Bull Magnus's Emílio Pernambucano. In the 71st minute Emílio Pernambucano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emílio Pernambucano scored 2-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vicente Barbosa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Galo do Cerrado's Severino Novaes got a free kick in the 76th minute. Sten Koch took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vicente Barbosa. Galo do Cerrado's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bass Dost hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Galo do Cerrado's Beto dos Santos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Cláudio Bittencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evelio Peli in the 83rd minute of play. Galo do Cerrado's Beto dos Santos suffered a sore thigh after 89 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Timoteo Eneko charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Timoteo Eneko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 89 played minutes Red Bull Magnus got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Eneko. Galo do Cerrado made a substitution. Erasmo Dias replaced Beto dos Santos. After 91 played minutes Galo do Cerrado got a freekick which was hit by Noel Lima. In the 94th minute Erasmo Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Bittencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 98th minute, Emílio Pernambucano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Red Bull Magnus were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Galo do Cerrado for a fine match.
