MIT Craiova's Calistrat Madgearu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Lopez in the 3rd minute of play. Tim Tarasek was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tiberiu Caramarin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiberiu Caramarin got free with Tim Tarasek in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. MIT Craiova's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mihăiţă Ilarie in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jax Van Landschoot in the 29th minute of play forced MIT Craiova's goalkeeper Calistrat Madgearu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 played minutes RoKoCoKo TeaM got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Iliana. MIT Craiova's Mihăiţă Ilarie got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tiberiu Caramarin might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tim Tarasek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiberiu Caramarin ran back to his position shaking his head. Tim Tarasek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiberiu Caramarin in the 34th minute of the match. Calistrat Madgearu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jax Van Landschoot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37thth minute of the game Tiberiu Caramarin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RoKoCoKo TeaM's Tim Tarasek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in RoKoCoKo TeaM fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! After a defensive mix-up in RoKoCoKo TeaM's zone, Tiberiu Caramarin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tim Tarasek came out of the goal and Tiberiu Caramarin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiberiu Caramarin to make the kick off. After 50 played minutes RoKoCoKo TeaM got a freekick which was hit by Hector Speed. Tim Tarasek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiberiu Caramarin in the 57th minute of play. Hermengildo Janpier received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Calistrat Madgearu came out and tried to block the shot, but Hermengildo Janpier slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 62nd minute. Hector Speed fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calistrat Madgearu having to interfere. MIT Craiova's David Tunander was substituted for Dorin Banu. Tiberiu Caramarin took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tim Tarasek. Tim Tarasek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After some careless play in the RoKoCoKo TeaM defense, Tiberiu Caramarin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tim Tarasek. The RoKoCoKo TeaM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tim Tarasek should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in RoKoCoKo TeaM's zone, Tiberiu Caramarin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tim Tarasek came out of the goal and Tiberiu Caramarin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. MIT Craiova's Fabian Geantă was substituted for Mihăiţă Ilarie. 78 minutes into the match, MIT Craiova's Tiberiu Caramarin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tim Tarasek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 79th minute of the match MIT Craiova got a corner. RoKoCoKo TeaM's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabian Geantă ran over to the corner to take the kick. MIT Craiova's Bogdan Bucataru was substituted for Florin Seremet. In the 82nd minute MIT Craiova were awarded a corner. Bogdan Bucataru went to the cornerflag to take it. MIT Craiova's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. MIT Craiova's Bogdan Bucataru was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tim Tarasek in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Bogdan Bucataru ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 92nd minute MIT Craiova were awarded a corner. Bogdan Bucataru went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Radu Sărăroiu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but RoKoCoKo TeaM's Tim Tarasek did a great save. David Tunander charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Tunander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. David Tunander kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MIT Craiova fans cheered their team off the field, for while RoKoCoKo TeaM had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
