Erzincan FK's Estevão Viana quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Regis Padriña, made in the 24th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Ariel Ortega kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jose Boldu. That made the score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Erzincan FK's goalie and right to Renato Tapia. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Erzincan FK's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Ariel Ortega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jose Boldu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Erzincan FK's goalkeeper Anıl Mücahit Efe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ariel Ortega's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Jose Boldu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Pudes Vilas hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. A throw-in in the 44th minute of the game was made by Regis Padriña with Pudes Vilas as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 46th minute of the match, Ariel Ortega got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jose Boldu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Jose Boldu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Ortega in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute Mauro Icardi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Boldu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franky Flam in the 64th minute of play forced Erzincan FK's goalkeeper Anıl Mücahit Efe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lefter Tanın kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute of the match Regis Padriña shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anıl Mücahit Efe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jose Boldu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Ortega in the 69th minute of play. After 76 played minutes Erzincan FK got a freekick which was hit by Lefter Tanın. Deportivo ScrugenFC made a substitution. Rosio Hermosilla replaced Pudes Vilas. Deportivo ScrugenFC's Kev Hurtado was substituted for Zoil Pequeño. In the 78th minute Junior Busquets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anıl Mücahit Efe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Mauro Icardi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jose Boldu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ariel Ortega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, Erzincan FK's goalkeeper Anıl Mücahit Efe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kev Hurtado. Anıl Mücahit Efe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kev Hurtado in the 97th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Erzincan FK could leave the field as winners, despite Deportivo ScrugenFC having more of the ball for most of the match.
