In the 20th minute, Emiliano Banegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erzincan FK's Mauro Icardi got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 26 played minutes Erzincan FK got a freekick which was hit by Kunter Haspolatlı. Romeo Toli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauro Icardi's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. A collision led to Diego Eterno getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Godofredo Oxel hit a great ball. In the 35th minute Mauro Icardi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Toli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romeo Toli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Ortega in the 38th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Alptuğ Gözlem cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Romeo Toli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Erzincan FK's Estevão Viana got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Erzincan FK's Estevão Viana managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Godofredo Oxel in the 46 minute of the game. Romeo Toli came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Erzincan FK's Ariel Ortega. But to his dismay, Ariel Ortega quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The Diego Eterno players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Erzincan FK were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saul Goodman made a kick off. Romeo Toli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ariel Ortega in the 57th minute. Emiliano Banegas made in the 59th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Erzincan FK's Estevão Viana. With 64 minutes on the clock, Feliberto Macias commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Diego Eterno fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 66 minutes, Erzincan FK's Ariel Ortega got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Romeo Toli. When Mauro Icardi came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Erzincan FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauro Icardi couldn't finish the play. Joel Macias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romeo Toli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauro Icardi in the 74th minute. Godofredo Oxel made in the 76th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Erzincan FK's Estevão Viana. If Wei Liang Qian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Diego Eterno booed when Erzincan FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kunter Haspolatlı didn't get a good kick on the ball. The nice shot from Ariel Ortega in the 94thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Romeo Toli had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. With splendid footwork Ariel Ortega arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-5 by the left pole in the game's 94th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Erzincan FK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
