Yalapa's Fermin Dolfo got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jose Cordarell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Dolfo in the 11th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Mario Rodriguez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yalapa's Cristo Izel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cipriano Tavio in the 16 minute of the game. After having played for 17 minutes, Fermin Dolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yalapa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fermin Dolfo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Basri İhtiyar made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Cyprian Sroki sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes into the match, Yalapa's goalkeeper Basri İhtiyar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cyprian Sroki. With a little luck, Yalapa's Basri İhtiyar got control of the ball when Cyprian Sroki tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th minute, Cipriano Tavio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jose Cordarell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Dolfo in the 39th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Teofilo Umbruso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Cordarell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Cordarell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermin Dolfo in the 46th minute of the match.

56 minutes into the game, Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jose Cordarell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jose Cordarell saved Alijilán returns from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Yalapa's Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jose Cordarell. That made the score 0-2 after 66 minutes of play. In the 72nd minute Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Cordarell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alijilán returns's Jose Cordarell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı in the 74th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Alijilán returns's Jose Cordarell. Jose Cordarell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yalapa made a substitution. Carlos Herrera replaced Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı. Fabian Rosalio was slow to take the kick. During this time Yalapa's players had a chance to rest. Jose Cordarell went to the wrong direction when Fabian Rosalio was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Herrera in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jose Cordarell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alijilán returns's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Carlos Herrera scored to the left of an out of position Jose Cordarell, making the score, 0-4. 97 minutes in the game Cipriano Tavio did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Benedito Valentim. The Yalapa players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
