The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeledon Barbosa got free with Florentino Herauso in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bosse Spendrup was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 25 minutes into the match. Fidel Jokin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Florentino Herauso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 36 minutes into the match, Vipos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Polo Quinteros came free, but Gervasio Ixaka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florentino Herauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Castanheira in the 37th minute of play. Florentino Herauso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Jokin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gervasio Ixaka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from M. Agus Young, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fidel Jokin in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florentino Herauso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zeledon Barbosa hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nasos Aquilino in the 93rd minute of play forced Santa Lucia de Merlo's goalkeeper Florentino Herauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fidel Jokin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Florentino Herauso having to make a save.
