Arturo Turners short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got João Carlos Viana to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to TRICOSHOW F.CLUB getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Pasha Sapulette hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lanny Gilmore in the 25th minute of play forced TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's goalkeeper João Carlos Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lanny Gilmore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's goalkeeper João Carlos Viana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Santos FC were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dominic Albright took the corner. TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's Pasha Sapulette quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Terence Nicholas, made in the 33rd minute of the game. Arturo Turner in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. TRICOSHOW F.CLUB made a substitution. Giuseppe Ramalho replaced Zézinho Pinho. Aaron Smallwood made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruan Mozer in the 61st minute of play. TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's Dominik Szoboszlai managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dominic Albright in the 79 minute of the game. Giuseppe Ramalho took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aaron Smallwood. Aaron Smallwood dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's Stanislaw Kasprzykowski got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santos FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
