Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Dolfos Cartagena got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Leopoldo Manta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopoldo Manta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donald Fenwick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ermegildo Pasqual came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Memphis Grizzlies's Vinicio Carballeira. But to his dismay, Vinicio Carballeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Leopoldo Manta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Donald Fenwick. That made the score 1-1 in the 23 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Orihuela Club de Fútbol's zone, Vinicio Carballeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ermegildo Pasqual came out of the goal and Vinicio Carballeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ermegildo Pasqual showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Carballeira in the 30th minute of the match. Vinicio Carballeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ermegildo Pasqual took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Carballeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 39 minutes, Leopoldo Manta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo Manta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leopoldo Manta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the game Noel Travassos made a throw-in which Leopoldo Manta played forward. After having played for 56 minutes, Vinicio Carballeira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Memphis Grizzlies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinicio Carballeira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th match minute, Memphis Grizzlies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maksymilian Trzemzalski to maneuver through the defense. Memphis Grizzlies's Nicky Sansom was substituted for Grant Andrews. Memphis Grizzlies's Ty Hislop was substituted for Ian Prutton. The supporters of Orihuela Club de Fútbol booed when Memphis Grizzlies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maksymilian Trzemzalski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Leopoldo Manta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Donald Fenwick. Memphis Grizzlies's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leopoldo Manta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's David Armada was substituted for Dolfos Cartagena. Jim Mannell got a throw-in 73 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ty Hislop. After 74 played minutes Memphis Grizzlies got a freekick which was hit by Jim Mannell. The supporters of Memphis Grizzlies booed when Orihuela Club de Fútbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Britto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orihuela Club de Fútbol made a substitution. Desiderio Perutxo replaced Leopoldo Manta. After a rather tough play, Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Júlio Britto got a free kick in the 78th minute. With a little luck, Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Ermegildo Pasqual got control of the ball when Ty Hislop tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Memphis Grizzlies getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Maksymilian Trzemzalski hit a great ball. If Desiderio Perutxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 85th minute Desiderio Perutxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donald Fenwick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
