The referee showed Ivan Cristescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th minute, one of TAXI-MM-:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for TAXI-MM-. TAXI-MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ademar Rocha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the TAXI-MM- players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sporting de Gijón.
