In the 11th minute, Elia Scarinci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Winszman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oğuzhan Fişek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oliverios Palma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pelayo Contratas in the 19th minute of play. After 20 minutes Oylimpiamos Ψ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gustavo Scarpa who took care of the corner kick. Oliverios Palma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pelayo Contratas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Winszman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oğuzhan Fişek, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 42nd minute, Bartolo Bachicabo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oylimpiamos Ψ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A collision led to Oylimpiamos Ψ getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Rik Quexada hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pelayo Contratas in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oliverios Palma saved Oylimpiamos Ψ from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pelayo Contratas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Gustavo Scarpa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GiaSiRo 08 made a substitution. When the final whistle went the supporters of GiaSiRo 08 were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Oylimpiamos Ψ side.
