The audience thought a goal was coming when Pepe Argento got free with Qi Guo Yue in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Pepe Argento took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Qi Guo Yue to make any attempt to save it. 16 minutes into the match, Torreoncito's Enmanuel Escerza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luciano Ferran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Qi Guo Yue prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 96 minutes into the match, Adrian Orzaize had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Qi Guo Yue. Torreoncito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adrian Orzaize was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Sαηgrε Azuɭ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
