Talleres's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Perico Pérez in the 5th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Jacobo Santxol in the 10th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Talleres's Peker Durusoy. 12 minutes into the game, Bruninho Pitta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rivermania FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talleres the free kick. A collision led to Rivermania FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Bruninho Pitta hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Seme in the 16th minute of play forced Talleres's goalkeeper Cecilio Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peker Durusoy hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Talleres's Cecilio Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Lorencio in the 18th minute of play. After 33 played minutes Rivermania FC got a freekick which was hit by Bruninho Pitta. 34 minutes into the match, Talleres's Perico Pérez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Severino Hulberto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Talleres made a substitution. Izydor Bugajski replaced Perico Pérez. Mauricio Manuelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Hulberto having to interfere. Erasmo Lorencio kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Severino Hulberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Tab in the 69th minute of the match. Efrain Seme took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cecilio Lastur. Cecilio Lastur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After having played for 74 minutes, Alfredo Tab managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talleres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Tab was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severino Hulberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Manuelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute.
