But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximo Villamarin couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute, Maximo Villamarin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 13 minutes into the game, Zelg FC's Jonas Herz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dawid Ratulowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Dawid Ratulowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Herz, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Dawid Ratulowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Herz in the 18th minute of play. Dawid Ratulowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilles Clerc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Maximo Villamarin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sepp Mainville was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Maximo Villamarin in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sepp Mainville, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 42nd minute, Irwin Monney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Red Reign's goal looked a bit too open when Gilles Clerc came free, but Dawid Ratulowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonas Herz was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Red Reign booed when Zelg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Giacomozzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Red Reign's Carlos Casemiro was substituted for Leoverliz Barrutia. Dawid Ratulowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilles Clerc in the 71st minute. 80 minutes into the match, Zelg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Villamarin came free, but Sepp Mainville reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zelg FC made a substitution. Rodolphe Blazsovies replaced Irwin Monney. A collision led to Red Reign getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Zigor Ardanza hit a great ball. Maximo Villamarin might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sepp Mainville. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximo Villamarin ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Villamarin in the 88th minute of play forced Zelg FC's goalkeeper Sepp Mainville to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jonas Herz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Jonas Herz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dawid Ratulowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Red Reign's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Herz came free, but Dawid Ratulowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Red Reign booed when Zelg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefano Hubli didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 98 played minutes, Red Reign's Wincenty Szel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sepp Mainville came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Red Reign reached it. The Red Reign fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Zelg FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
