The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Teofilo Kelemen struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Atak Üke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CAM Football Club. CAM Football Club's Florencio Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orkun Sancar in the 12th minute of play. Florencio Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonides Xacintu in the 15th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Orkun Sancar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Florencio Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kadri Aksoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florencio Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Xacintu in the 24th minute of play. Atak Üke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Kelemen in the 28th minute of play. Florencio Cruz came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Leonides Xacintu. But to his dismay, Leonides Xacintu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Atak Üke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Kelemen in the 36th minute of play. Atak Üke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Idacio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 40 minutes of play, CAM Football Club's Teofilo Kelemen made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Atak Üke was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnaldo Idacio to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Idacio in the 52nd minute of play forced 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's goalkeeper Atak Üke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the match, 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Kelemen came free, but Atak Üke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Apolo Bikendi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Atak Üke read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. The 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Leonides Xacintu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. CAM Football Club's Angelo Isusko was substituted for Apolo Bikendi. 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB made a substitution. Ferhan Saik replaced Kadri Aksoy. Leonides Xacintu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florencio Cruz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. When the final whistle went the supporters of 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant CAM Football Club side.
