Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augustin Petruț was the one to do the kick off. Paul Diculescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Jeremy Nicholas made a huge save. Martin Tudor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 62 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paul Diculescu. 63 minutes into the game, Augustin Petruț lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Jeremy Nicholas. New England Minas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dumitru Albulescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The New England Minas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in FC Psihopel BM-MM-'s zone, Tony Pacheco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Tudor came out of the goal and Tony Pacheco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeremy Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Petruț in the 95th minute of play. FC Psihopel BM-MM-'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
