Sebastião Xoxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pane Boze, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute JuSi Malacky were awarded a corner. Ant Man went to the cornerflag to take it. Sebastião Xoxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kryspin Wnukowski in the 19th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Anselmo Doris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Pogoń Szczecin's Norbert Major dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After 46 played minutes Pogoń Szczecin got a freekick which was hit by Manos Trachanas. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Rafa Furman made the kick off in the second half. Stefanos Stefanopoulos hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Sebastião Xoxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andre Præstvang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ryszard Czerwiec hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Rafa Furman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Sebastião Xoxe made a huge save. In the 63rd minute, Leon Binau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. JuSi Malacky made a substitution. Dušan Chmelík replaced Buba Huba. The supporters of JuSi Malacky booed when Pogoń Szczecin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darko Pančev didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th match minute, JuSi Malacky was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ant Man to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute, Rafa Furman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sebastião Xoxe. The goal made the score 2-1. Thanks to some nice moves Rafa Furman could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Sebastião Xoxe however easily saved by the left post. The Pogoń Szczecin players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
