In the 15th minute Horácio Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naldo Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 minutes of play, Scarlet Speedster's Fausto Mendonça made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuel Podgoreanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Emanuel Podgoreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgílio Perez in the 20th minute of play. Olavo Palmeira hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Scarlet Speedster's goalkeeper Naldo Proença had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horácio Garcia. In the 40th minute Fausto Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Podgoreanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's goal looked a bit too open when João Severino came free, but Emanuel Podgoreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A wasted opportunity for Acercate Y Patea de Lejos. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Feng Xu Yong the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Acercate Y Patea de Lejos protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Feng Xu Yong had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 56th minute, one of Acercate Y Patea de Lejos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Acercate Y Patea de Lejos. 62 minutes into the match, Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's goal looked a bit too open when João Severino came free, but Emanuel Podgoreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Fausto Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scarlet Speedster's supporters rose to their feet, but Fausto Mendonça was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Podgoreanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Eliseo Abechuco was substituted for Yves Ayral. Fausto Mendonça made in the 71st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jens-Ove Eriksson immediately put the ball in play. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Emanuel Podgoreanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Acercate Y Patea de Lejos from getting a goal against them.
