But to his dismay, 何松烨 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Vasco Goycochea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Severino in the 19th minute of play. Tomas Wallin got a throw-in 28 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Edward Krzynowek. In the 35th minute João Severino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasco Goycochea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vasco Goycochea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Severino, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Alfredinho Machado notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of TheBambiTooFurious's Vasco Goycochea. Vasco Goycochea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. TheBambiTooFurious's Vasco Goycochea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Severino in the 42nd minute of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Virgílio Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scarlet Speedster's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgílio Perez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 何松烨 was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes in the game, João Severino fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Vasco Goycochea having to interfere. Virgílio Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasco Goycochea having to interfere. Vasco Goycochea made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Virgílio Perez sent off a good shot on target. Vasco Goycochea made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Severino in the 61st minute. TheBambiTooFurious's Justo Egoitz was substituted for Edelmiro Lucero. With a little luck, TheBambiTooFurious's Vasco Goycochea got control of the ball when Alfredinho Machado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Naldo Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justo Egoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Scarlet Speedster's Naldo Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Martxel in the 77th minute of play. Justo Egoitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Naldo Proença. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Justo Egoitz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 79th minute Justo Egoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naldo Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Naldo Proença made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Eladio in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Severino in the 83rd minute of play forced TheBambiTooFurious's goalkeeper Vasco Goycochea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Scarlet Speedster's Naldo Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Egoitz in the 88th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Lucio Eladio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Naldo Proença. Scarlet Speedster's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucio Eladio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.
