Emory Øien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Tolino in the 4th minute of play. Deportivo Pucho were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Aversa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wilfredo Thomas took the corner. The corner led Deportivo Pucho's Romulo Brun to fire away a dangerous shot which Emory Øien despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Deportivo Pucho's Józef Mlynarczyk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Pucho from getting a goal against them. 14 minutes into the game, Gísli Langnickel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Józef Mlynarczyk. Gísli Langnickel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Józef Mlynarczyk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gísli Langnickel in the 17th minute. Gísli Langnickel might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Józef Mlynarczyk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gísli Langnickel ran back to his position shaking his head. Deportivo Pucho's Józef Mlynarczyk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Pucho from getting a goal against them. When Deportivo Pucho's Vinicio Casado in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aversa's goalie prevented a goal. Amedeo Vida ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Beppe Berardinelli almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Deportivo Pucho's Józef Mlynarczyk did a great save. In the 26th minute, Aversa's Gísli Langnickel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gísli Langnickel in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Józef Mlynarczyk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Claudio-Paul Caniggia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emory Øien was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Deportivo Pucho's Józef Mlynarczyk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Pucho from getting a goal against them. Gísli Langnickel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gísli Langnickel to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 51st minute by Julio Tolino got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gísli Langnickel in the 53rd minute of play forced Deportivo Pucho's goalkeeper Józef Mlynarczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilmar Mendes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Emory Øien when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Józef Mlynarczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gísli Langnickel in the 66th minute of play. Flavio Di Giulio might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Józef Mlynarczyk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Flavio Di Giulio ran back to his position shaking his head. Deportivo Pucho's Prospero Tiadoro was substituted for Vinicio Casado. Aversa made a substitution. Aang Pitono replaced Flavio Di Giulio. When Ferdinando Cesarini came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Aversa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdinando Cesarini couldn't finish the play. Józef Mlynarczyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Fulgenzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Józef Mlynarczyk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gísli Langnickel's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aang Pitono in the 88th minute of play forced Deportivo Pucho's goalkeeper Józef Mlynarczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Deportivo Pucho's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Amedeo Vida was slow to take the kick. During this time Aversa's players had a chance to rest. In the 90th match minute, Aversa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinando Cesarini to maneuver through the defense. Lotan Frøne's late challenge caught a Deportivo Pucho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lotan Frøne helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Deportivo Pucho booed when Aversa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lotan Frøne didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aang Pitono in the 95th minute of play forced Deportivo Pucho's goalkeeper Józef Mlynarczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Anselmo Fulgenzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
