The audience thought a goal was coming when Aníbal Sá got free with Armando Armani in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilmar de Moraes in the 8th minute of play forced Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Armando Armani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrián Espadas in the 14th minute of play forced Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's goalkeeper Haroldo Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Adrián Espadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Sá in the 18th minute of play. Soroca F.C.'s Armando Armani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Soroca F.C. from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Soroca F.C.'s Armando Armani got control of the ball when David Lima tried to sneak it across the goal line. Haroldo Dante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Atarrabi in the 34th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Armando Armani threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Enzo Nahia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Haroldo Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Atarrabi in the 38th minute of play. Haroldo Dante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrián Espadas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Soroca F.C.'s Armando Armani got control of the ball when Aníbal Sá tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The wind increased when Adrián Espadas made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Clube Atl. Taquaritinga getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Tarcisio Couto hit a great ball. In the 56th minute Enzo Nahia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Soroca F.C. defense, Enzo Nahia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armando Armani. The Soroca F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando Armani should have stopped the shot. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Godofredo Quilino replaced Christian Gagriel. Armando Armani came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Aníbal Sá. But to his dismay, Aníbal Sá quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilmar de Moraes in the 67th minute of play forced Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Armando Armani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haroldo Dante didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Răzvan Necula went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 74th minute, Răzvan Necula got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Sá in the 75th minute of play forced Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Armando Armani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Délio Coutinho made in the 83rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Breno Loyola however managed to control. 84 minutes into the match, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's goalkeeper Haroldo Dante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Răzvan Necula. In the 85th match minute, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aníbal Sá to maneuver through the defense. If Răzvan Necula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 88th minute Răzvan Necula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Haroldo Dante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Haroldo Dante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Răzvan Necula in the 95th minute of the match. Soroca F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
