The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Don Cabezon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kiran Tomasini was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Dacian Nițescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolf Van de kauter in the 6th minute of play. After having played for 9 minutes, Don Cabezon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Don Cabezon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute Don Cabezon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kiran Tomasini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th match minute, THE ROKERY PIMKIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Howard Archambault to maneuver through the defense. Don Cabezon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kiran Tomasini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Hardy Zingg kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. When Don Cabezon came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC fans jumped to their feet. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorge Luna made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Jorge Luna put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Dacian Nițescu. Dewa Warauw fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kiran Tomasini having to interfere. The AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
