Kiran Tomasini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Augusto Rosa in the 37th minute of the match. Izydor Wolnik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolf Van de kauter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The supporters of THE ROKERY PIMKIS booed when MS Rybnik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Kicia didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Morientes in the 71st minute of play forced MS Rybnik's goalkeeper Izydor Wolnik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ferris Stock fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored THE ROKERY PIMKIS's protests and gave Ferris Stock a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to THE ROKERY PIMKIS getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Ferris Stock hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, José Augusto Rosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, MS Rybnik's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Morientes came free, but Izydor Wolnik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The MS Rybnik supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing MS Rybnik would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
