Toni Schumacher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mastur Bassi, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the match, FC Bullen's goal looked a bit too open when Mastur Bassi came free, but Toni Schumacher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cheche Rubiero's late challenge caught a FC Bullen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cheche Rubiero helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Senatus Populus Que Roman getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Cheche Rubiero hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, FC Bullen's goal looked a bit too open when Mastur Bassi came free, but Toni Schumacher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Senatus Populus Que Roman made a substitution. José Fontan replaced Güneş Oral. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mastur Bassi took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Toni Schumacher. Toni Schumacher dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Merexildo in the 77th minute of play forced Senatus Populus Que Roman's goalkeeper Poncio Abellan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andy Beckman hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Poncio Abellan didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 82nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. The supporters of Senatus Populus Que Roman booed when FC Bullen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvard Sandström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amador Merexildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Poncio Abellan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Senatus Populus Que Roman's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
