Vânderson Saa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paw Heedal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dale Dolar in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dida Martins saved Hoberg United from getting behind. Dale Dolar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Barcellos Mineiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dale Dolar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paw Heedal came free, but Vânderson Saa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paw Heedal might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vânderson Saa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paw Heedal ran back to his position shaking his head. Arí Paraibano was slow to take the kick. During this time Barcellos Mineiro FC's players had a chance to rest. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cintya Palacios during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paw Heedal to make the kick off. In the 64th minute Dale Dolar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Martins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Paw Heedal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
