Spectators: 7993 (Terracing: 5996, Seating: 1838, VIP seats: 159) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Türkeş Akşit kicked off to start the match. In the 8th minute Kent Jonasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farid Mondragon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Rahim İskender got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Türkeş Akşit's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bengt Apelquist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. After 18 minutes Huvudstaden's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Naci Tansu who took care of the corner kick. In the 25th minute Türkeş Akşit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt Apelquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andırın SK were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Huvudstaden's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Naci Tansu took the corner. Farid Mondragon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patrik Heggert in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Andırın SK's goal looked a bit too open when Peder Sarstedt came free, but Farid Mondragon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Staffan Bruhn kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Bengt Apelquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Türkeş Akşit in the 35th minute of the match.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Jonasson in the 53rd minute of play forced Andırın SK's goalkeeper Farid Mondragon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Andırın SK's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Jonasson came free, but Farid Mondragon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Farid Mondragon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kent Jonasson's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Bengt Apelquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Türkeş Akşit in the 61st minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Andırın SK's goal looked a bit too open when Peder Sarstedt came free, but Farid Mondragon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Türkeş Akşit got free with Bengt Apelquist in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Türkeş Uğuralp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andırın SK's Batıhan Saik was substituted for Türkeş Akşit. Batıhan Saik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 75 minutes into the match, Huvudstaden's goalkeeper Bengt Apelquist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Batıhan Saik. Farid Mondragon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arvid Olsson in the 77th minute of the match. Andırın SK's Batıhan Saik got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Huvudstaden booed when Andırın SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Burhanettin Baykam didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Batıhan Saik came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Andırın SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Batıhan Saik couldn't finish the play. Farid Mondragon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peder Sarstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Huvudstaden were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Andırın SK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Patrik Heggert took the corner. Huvudstaden's Arvid Olsson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Farid Mondragon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
